1. What This Policy Covers

This policy explains how Song Dog Spirits collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you sign up to receive email or text (SMS/MMS/RCS) messages from us (for marketing, transactional alerts, reminders, or other customer communications). It also explains your choices and rights under applicable law, including Maryland law.

When you subscribe to receive texts, we may collect:

3. How to Opt In (Give Consent)

You give consent by any of the following methods:

All opt-in flows will include clear disclosures of message frequency, that message & data rates may apply, and instructions on how to opt out. This business will retain records of your consent. Note: For promotional messaging programs, we will include opt-out instructions at regular intervals (at least once per month) and honor STOP requests immediately.

If you receive marketing/promotional texts, you must have provided prior express written consent (this is required by federal and state telemarketing laws and carrier rules). You can revoke consent at any time by texting STOP or selecting the “unsubscribe” link, or contacting us.

We share your mobile number and related information only as necessary to deliver the service (with messaging platforms, carriers, analytics, and fraud prevention providers) and when required by law. We require third-party providers to protect your data and only use it to perform services for us.

Customer data is not shared with 3rd parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain email and SMS data (including opt-in records and message logs) for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and for carrier monitoring/audit purposes. If you request deletion, we will remove or de-identify your personal data from active systems, except where retention is required by law or to preserve records of consent and opt-out for compliance.
