Song Dog Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Aged at least four years, our flagship bourbon is proudly made from locally-grown Bloody Butcher heirloom red corn, adding nuance and a long finish to the flavor profile. We blend 4–8 custom barrels at a time for each small batch, bringing together different char and toast levels. Using a solera-inspired blending method, we marry each batch into a bourbon that is complex, balanced, and full of character.

  • 75% Bloody Butcher heirloom red corn

A 5-year-old straight bourbon whiskey with a layered and mature profile. The nose opens with rich dried cherry and apricot, interwoven with notes of aged tobacco and worn leather, lifted by a subtle hint of fresh pear. On the palate, soft vanilla sweetness leads into structured flavors of black tea and toasted walnut, adding depth and gentle tannin. The finish is long and evolving, revealing lingering fig, warming spice from cracked pepper and cinnamon, and a refreshing touch of spearmint.
